Fort Carson Exchange

The Fort Carson shopping center expansion grew an existing 86,000-square-foot exchange to roughly 190,000 square feet, enlarging the sales floor, extending the mall, and adding administration and bank areas. The Jenkins Group, on a design-build team, gave the enlarged store new entries, a renovated food court, and an updated façade in composite metal wall panels.

Designed to a LEED Silver-certifiable standard, the project more than doubled the store's footprint while unifying old and new under a single, current exchange image for the Fort Carson community.
