David Duffy – Architect, Interior Designer

Dave is a licensed Architect and Interior Designer. With over 37 years of experience in design, production, code analysis and specifications on wide variety of projects, Dave often leads or coordinates both the design side and technical side of many of the firm’s projects. His designs embrace beneficial and sustainable long-term trends rather than short-term fads. Dave, a graduate of the University of Illinois, notes that the path to a successful project requires an experienced design team and continuous collaboration.

Home rehab shows take up most of Dave’s streaming history, but he really loves playing his weekly, organized pick-up basketball games which he claims keeps him young at heart.

With over 35 years of architectural experience, Paul has deep knowledge of many building types. He continues to lead the firm’s Design-Build design teams in acquiring and completing successful low-bid and best value-bid government / military proposals. A graduate from Iowa State University, Paul leverages his extensive understanding of technology to provide sustainable/LEED compliant solutions along with enhanced CAD/3-D document preparation.

Paul often spends his off-hours involved with the Zellmer Childhood Disease Foundation NFP. The ZCDF foundation raises thousands of dollars a year to support education and research related to the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure of chronic childhood diseases.

From office buildings to contemporary interiors to retail decor and branding, Kevin has been pleasing both government and private sector clients for decades. With a wide range of project experience and substantial knowledge of 3D and rendering software, he turns his client’s visions into tangible results. Kevin is a licensed architect, NCARB certified, and is a graduate of Southern Illinois University. Kevin admits to a slumping golf game as he happily chooses to spend his free time with his young and energetic children.

We have a substantial presence in the Chicago area and continue to provide successful design and planning services to clients across the U.S. and overseas.

We have extensive experience with master site planning, office buildings, retail centers, supermarkets and commissaries, industrial / warehouse / service facilities, dormitories as well as interiors and tenant finish-outs – for the private sector and the government. We consistently provide winning design services for our Design-Build partners.

First, we understand most of our clients have specific budget and time requirements. As such, we optimize each project’s services to meet the client’s specific needs. This may include a quick preliminary site plan, or a small tenant build-out, or may include a full-service, fast-track, high-rise. In any case, we collaborate with our clients to develop, enrich, and reach their end goals within time and budget limitations. Our many repeat clients are an acknowledgement of this achievement.

Second, we consistently provide winning design proposals for our Design-Build partners. Many government / military projects are acquired through the Design-Build proposal process and we have decades of experience in navigating the compilation of the many codes, criteria and proposal requirements necessary to win these jobs. We are currently active with DeCA, AAFES, NAVFAC and the USACE.

Third, every project is managed by one of the firm’s principals, each of whom who has decades of architectural/interiors/ planning experience in their respective field. In addition, we partner and coordinate with a highly experienced team of professional engineers. This formula helps minimize design, construction, time and cost issues and helps maximize the likelihood of a successful project.
