Pennyville Barcar – Expansion & Remodel

The Pennyville Barcar in Park Ridge connects to the adjacent Pennyville Station restaurant, and The Jenkins Group designed the move that joined them — removing a portion of the masonry party wall (once the two parcels were combined) to create employee and patron connections, with new structural support and an accessible ramp between the spaces.

The remodel reworks the bar into an open, indoor-outdoor room: folding storefront partitions with air curtains, a relocated bar with new plumbing and electrical, reorganized back-of-house, and a new sprinkler system on the Barcar side.
