MCLB Albany Military Working Dog Renovation

The Military Working Dog facility renovation at MCLB Albany upgraded a specialized building type where kennels, handling spaces, and security all have to work together. The Jenkins Group reworked the facility to current standards, including electrified access-control hardware integrated with the base's security systems.

Designed to UFC and NAVFAC criteria, the renovation balances the welfare of the working dogs with the operational and security demands of a Marine Corps logistics installation.

A working-dog facility has two sets of users — and only one of them reads the signs.
